GPS Export Route

FDOT developed the NextGen GPS mapping process to automate importing data into the ITSFM database. To support oversite and the audit process of the GPS data, custom export routines were created within the TerraFlex environment. When the project passes audit the data is synchronized to the ITSFM automatically. The following are available options for exporting the data:

Description CSV              - This export outputs feature and attribute description values in comma separated values                                                                                                      format used for auditing the data

KML                                    - This Google Earth file format contains all geolocated features including their attribute values                                                                                               and is used for auditing the data

ESRI                                   - This export is available for use in GIS software

DWG                                 - This export is available for use with CAD software to update as-built plans

DXF                                    - This export is available for use with CAD software to update as-built plans

The export routines are available to all personnel with access to the FDOT TerraFlex projects.
