WATERSS Process Training
December 5, 2023 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (EST)

This training will provide a WATERSS Process overview for all District and Consultant practitioners through all project phases that are involved with drainage and stormwater in planning, PD&E, design, and project management. The course will focus on the implementation of WATERSS as more projects across the state begin utilizing this process. Click here to register.

Bat Acoustic Training
Early 2024

The focus of the training will be on how to collect and decipher bat acoustic survey data. The training will require attendees to participate in a pre-training meeting in December (to have software installed prior to the class). Three regions will host in person trainings: North (Tallahassee Central Office on January 11 & 12), Central (Brooksville Operations Office), and South Florida (DOT Ft. Pierce Treasure Coast Operations Office). Each training will be over a two-day period. Class size is limited to 25 people and will be open to DOT staff first before allowing consultant participation. Registration will be sent out once all training dates have been confirmed.
