ACTIVE STATE OF EMERGENCY

As Florida continues to recover from Hurricane Helene, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is also actively monitoring Hurricane Milton. Interstate lane closures and operations on active construction projects within the projected path of the storm have been suspended. Contractors on these construction projects are currently securing work sites, clearing traffic control devices that are not actively being used to direct traffic, and checking drainage systems. NOTICE: New continuing education requirement for Dispute Review Board (DRB) participation. Prior to January 1, 2024, DRB Members must attend one session of DRB Refresher Training to remain an active Member. Sessions are scheduled for August 25, 2023 (Pompano), September 8, 2023 (Orlando), and November 17, 2023 (Tallahassee). Registration coming soon on www.drb.org.
