2nd Annual Bike to Work Day

TIME: 6:30 a.m.–8:00 a.m. (ride begins at 7:00 a.m.)

The Department of Health in Seminole County, in partnership with reThink Your Commute, is hosting their 2nd Annual Bike to Work Day event to kick-off Mobility Week. The free event is an opportunity for people who are interested in biking to work to try it for the first-time with co-workers and friends. This year they are inviting other agencies to join their employees on their ride from the SunRail Sanford Station to their place of business at 400 West Airport Blvd in Sanford.

Alert Today Outreach at Bike to Work Day Orlando

TIME: 6:30 a.m.–7:30 a.m.

Join the Alert Today Alive Tomorrow team in Festival Park as part of the Bike to Work Day Orlando to distribute pedestrian and bicycle surveys and fit bike helmets.

Bike to Work Day with Mayor Dyer
Safety Awareness Event

TIME: 7:00 a.m.–8:30 a.m.

Join us for our annual community bike ride, led by Mayor Dyer, through Downtown Orlando ending at Orlando City Hall. Check in and onsite registration begins at 7 a.m., and the ride starts at 8 a.m. Free bike tune-ups, refreshments and raffle prizes will be provided. Medals will be awarded to the teams with the most participants.

Laureate Park Elementary School Bus Safety Event

TIME: 2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.

Florida Department of Transportation’s Alert Today Initiative in partnership with The National Coalition for Safer Roads (NCSR) is hosting a school bus safety outreach event on Friday, October 25, 2019, for students at Laureate Park Elementary School in Orlando, FL. This safety outreach wraps up the National School Bus Safety Week, during the week of October 21 thru 25 and kicks off Mobility Week.

Trunk or Treat at Travis Park

TIME: 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

A free, fun event for the whole family. Join the Space Coast TPO at a safe Halloween alternative for kids, with plenty of candy and Trick or Treat bicyclist/pedestrian safety information.

Boo on Broadway

TIME: 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

Put on your Halloween costume and join us as we promote pedestrian and bicycle safety and multimodal transportation at this year’s Boo On Broadway event! Enjoy ghost tours, pumpkin decorating, a spooktacular scavenger hunt, and of course receive a copy of the SunRail schedule.
