Ride Leader/Ride Marshal Program Training

TIME: 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Whether you are leading a community bike ride or a major charity cycling event, the Ride Leader/Ride Marshal training offered by the Florida Bicycle Association (FBA) will teach you invaluable skills you need and more. This is a public event and is open for anyone to register. The fee is $20 for FBA members and $35 for non-members. To register for this training, please visit our website.

Age Friendly Helmet Fitting Event

TIME: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

The Department of Health in Seminole County will be at the Black Hammock Trailhead of the Cross Seminole Trail fitting our age friendly population with free helmets (free to anyone in need) and promoting bicycle/pedestrian safety. More details are forthcoming.

Melbourne Parks and Recreation Halloween Event

TIME: 12:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m.

The City of Melbourne’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a free family Halloween event! The Space Coast TPO will be there handing out pedestrian and bike safety coloring books, goodies, and more. Join us!

City of Apopka–Hometown Halloween in the Park

TIME: 4:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.

The City of Apopka is hosting a free family Halloween event! The Mobility Week team will be there handing out pedestrian and bike safety coloring books, goodies, and more. Join us!

Trunk or Treat Pedestrian Night Safety
(for halloween night)

TIME: 6:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m.

The Department of Health in Seminole County will be at Northland Church’s Trunk or Treat event educating kids and parents about pedestrian safety at night and giving out reflectors and blinking lights to wear for Halloween night.
