About the Work Program

Welcome to the Florida Department of Transportation, District Seven’s Tentative Five-Year Work Program Online Public Hearing.

The Five-Year Work Program is our plan for transportation system improvements programmed during the next five years. The Five-Year Work Program includes planning activities, preliminary engineering, right of way acquisition, construction and public transportation projects within Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough Counties planned by FDOT and the Florida Turnpike Enterprise.

The current Adopted Five-Year Work Program covers Fiscal Years 2023 through 2027 (projects programmed July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2027) and was adopted on July 1, 2022. Click here to download the Adopted Five-Year Work Program.

The Tentative Work Program includes projects scheduled for Fiscal Years 2024 through 2028 (projects programmed July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2028). After the public comment period ends, the Tentative Work Program is reviewed by the Florida Legislature and the Governor and adopted by the State Secretary of Transportation on July 1, 2023.
