About the Work Program
Welcome to the Florida Department of Transportation, District Seven’s Tentative Five-Year Work Program Online Public Hearing.
The Five-Year Work Program is our plan for transportation system improvements programmed during the next five years. The Five-Year Work Program includes planning activities, preliminary engineering, right of way acquisition, construction and public transportation projects within Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough Counties planned by FDOT and the Florida Turnpike Enterprise.
The current Adopted Five-Year Work Program covers Fiscal Years 2024 through 2028 (projects programmed July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2028) and was adopted on July 1, 2023.
The Tentative Work Program includes projects scheduled for Fiscal Years 2025 through 2029 (projects programmed July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2029). The Tentative Work Program will be available for public review and comments beginning October 23, 2023. After public comments have been received by November 13, 2023, the Work Program will be reviewed by the Florida Legislature and Governor, then adopted by the State Secretary of Transportation on July 1, 2024.
This website serves as our on-line public hearing, which begins Monday, October 23, 2023. You are encouraged to review the projects and provide comments. All comments must be received by Monday, November 13, 2023 in order to become part of the official record.
We are hosting a Districtwide Open House on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Florida Department of Transportation, District 7 office (11201 N. McKinley Drive, Tampa, FL 33612). During the open house you will be able to review interactive maps and submit written comments.
