CR 510 PD&E Study from 58th Avenue to East of US-1

Welcome

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has initiated a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for CR 510 from 58th Avenue to East of US-1 in Indian River County. The purpose of this study is to develop viable alternatives to widen CR 510 from 58th Avenue to east of SR 5/US 1 from two to four lanes as well as evaluate the addition of multimodal features such as sidewalks, bicycle lanes, and multi-use paths. Intersection improvements at 58th Avenue and at SR 5/US 1 will also be evaluated. The study will evaluate alternatives to improve capacity for local and regional travel, freight movement, emergency evacuation, and to enhance economic development in northeast Indian River County.
