The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Four, is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for State Road (SR) 9/Interstate 95 (I-95) at Lantana Road Interchange in Palm Beach County. The primary purpose of the project is to enhance overall traffic operations and safety at the existing interchange of SR 9/I-95 and Lantana Road by providing improvements that will address the existing congestion and accommodate future travel demand at the interchange.

Public Hearing

FDOT held a Public Hearing for this project with both virtual and in-person options. The virtual hearing was held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. The in-person hearing was held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Lantana Road Branch Library located at 4020 Lantana Road, Lake Worth, Florida 33462. Both the virtual and in-person public hearings began at 5:30 p.m. with an open house, followed by a pre-recorded formal presentation at 6:00 p.m. and then a public comment period.
