Pinellas County Smart Community 2020 ATCMTD

The Pinellas County Smart Community Project uses connected vehicle technology to alert motorists of traffic jams and help them avoid accidents along SR 60 and US 19. The USDOT awarded this project an ATCMTD grant for $4.6 million in 2020. Influential in receiving this grant was the US 19/Pinellas County SPaT project deployed by FDOT.
