This project is to install an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Advanced Incident (Queue and Stopped Vehicle) Warning System along I-95. This system's primary goal is to alert motorists in advance of slowing or stopped traffic on the mainline that is backing up from congested interchanges.

WHEN CRASHES OR QUEUEING IS DETECTED, UPSTREAM LED FLASHING BEACONS ATTACHED TO ROADSIDE WARNING SIGNS ARE ACTIVATED. VOLUSIA & FLAGER COUNTY.
