Welcome to the District Two 2026-2030
Tentative Five-Year Work Program

The Five-Year Work Program is our plan for transportation system improvements programmed during the next five years. The Five-Year Work Program includes planning activities, preliminary engineering, right of way acquisition, construction and public transportation projects within Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Suwannee, Taylor, and Union counties planned by FDOT and the Florida Turnpike Enterprise.

The Tentative Work Program includes projects scheduled for Fiscal Years 2026 through 2030 (projects programmed July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030). After the public comment period ends (which ended November 1, 2023), the Tentative Work Program is reviewed by the Florida Legislature and the Governor and adopted by the State Secretary of Transportation July 1, 2024. 

FDOT District 2 is holding the 2024 In-Person and Virtual Public Hearing Tue, Nov 19, 2024 at 6:00 PM EST at the Jacksonville Urban Office Training Facility and online through GoTo webinar. The official presentation will begin at 6 p.m.

This meeting will serve as the official public hearing for the Tentative Five-Year Work Program for FDOT District Two. There will be a brief work program development presentation at 6 p.m. followed by a public comment period. Department staff will be on hand to answer questions or concerns for all counties in District Two.

Interested persons may join the virtual public hearing (VPH) from a computer, tablet or phone or participate in person at the FDOT Jacksonville Urban Office Training Facility, 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204.
