Invasive Species Program Information
How the Program came to be
Invasive species are species that are not native to Florida and cause economic/environmental harm to human health. Florida's natural resources are threatened by a number of terrestrial (land-based) invasive species. The Florida Invasive Species Program works to help prevent the spread and promote the management of invasive species.
