2026 Lettings

I-Street

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the University of Florida (UF) are partnering to invite the industry for participating in the Implementing Solutions from Transportation Research and Evaluation of Emerging Technologies (I-STREET) program for implementing emerging technologies aimed at safety and mobility improvements. UF will invite the industry to submit responses to the Request for Information (RFI) to deploy and test Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) technologies to reduce traffic crashes and improve multimodal operations along I-STREET corridors and subsequent adoption in other places in the state of Florida.

The Department intends to work with the local agencies through the FDOT district offices and leverage the I-STREET program by testing and evaluating various technologies.
