Cove Road Widening from State Road (SR) 76/Kanner Highway to SR 5/US-1
Welcome
On September 25, 2025 the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) granted Location and Design Concept Acceptance for the Cove Road improvements from State Road 76/Kanner Highway to State Road 5/US 1. The proposed improvements consist of the expansion of Cove Road from two to four travel lanes, a bicycle and pedestrian shared-use path, and intersection improvements. Approval was granted pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding executed between the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
The project is currently in the Design phase of development.
