Florida Statewide Surveys – Since 2000, FDOT has conducted statewide surveys of our residents, visitors, and other stakeholders to gauge what we are doing right, what we can do better, and how their transportation preferences and attitudes are evolving as the world around us changes. The latest survey of Florida Residents was conducted in March 2021. We also provide some best practice guides and resources on how to conduct transportation surveys that are cost effective and statistically significant.

Lane Repurposing Project Before and After Study - Using existing FDOT data, this 2021 study quantifies the safety and mobility impact of a lane repurposing project for pedestrians, bicyclists, and automobiles within the analysis segment of Powerline Road in Broward County as well as the potential economic impact on the local community. The methodology and data used is a good example of how FDOT can provide low-cost and effective studies on the impacts of transportation projects around the state.
