Florida Transportation Leaders Awarded for Outstanding Roads, Bridges, Intersections, Expressways and Highways
Award Honors Top FDOT Infrastructure Projects Recently Completed
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida (ACEC Florida) recently honored eight Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) infrastructure developments with Outstanding Project Awards for transportation achievements.
Award winners were announced and honored during the ACEC Florida Transportation Conference held last week in Orlando, FL.
“These award-winning projects represent real solutions that enhance safety, strengthen connectivity, and improve the quality of life for Florida’s communities,” said FDOT Secretary Jared W. Perdue, P.E. “Every one of these projects show what is possible when dedicated teams across FDOT and Florida’s engineering firms collaborate and align behind the same mission.”

Nominations were submitted from projects in FDOT’s seven districts, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise and the Central Office. There was a total of 39 nominations submitted. The awards committee is comprised of ACEC Florida and FDOT representatives.
