Roadways in the Rural Town (C2T) Context Classification reside in small concentrations of developed areas immediately surrounded by rural and natural conditions. The buildings surrounding the roadway in this context are generally one or two stories, including many historic buildings, with little to no setback from the road.
Rural Town streets have an allowable design speed of 25 - 45 mph which enables the implementation of several speed management techniques per the FDOT Design Manual .
