I-95 Treasure Coast Study

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has paused the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study along State Road (S.R.) 9/I-95 from SR 706 (Indiantown Road) in Palm Beach County to SR 70 (Okeechobee Road) in St. Lucie County. The determination to pause the PD&E study was based on funding and financial constraints to implement this large and complex project.

The FDOT will continue to develop funding-compatible projects along I-95 and at the interchanges to improve safety, maintain acceptable traffic operations and preserve the integrity of the interstate and arterial highway system.

The I-95 multimodal master plan studies for the Treasure Coast region were completed prior to the PD&E study and are listed below.

The I-95 feasibility studies will further evaluate the corridor and conceptual improvements to meet the year 2050 requirements.
