Competitive Grant Program
Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Competitive Grant Program
The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) also provides $2.5 billion for competitive grants in two separate, equally funded programs: Community Charging and Corridor Charging. They support electric vehicle charging deployment across the country, especially in rural and underserved communities. Funds are awarded annually through a competitive grant process that is separate from the NEVI Program Formula funds.
