INTERNSHIP CALENDAR

Internships operate per academic year. The duration of participation is one (1) semester; however, participants may be reappointed up until graduation.

The program's semesters run in conjunction with the summer, fall, and spring semesters of Florida colleges and universities. The Internship Calendar is established annually and specifies the application windows during which the Department will accept applications, start dates, and semester end dates as follows:​

Pay/Hours:

This is a paid internship program at a rate of $15.00/hour. Internship positions are allotted a minimum of twenty (20) hours per bi-weekly pay period. Internship positions may not exceed more than forty (40) hours per bi-weekly pay period.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to apply, you must: currently be enrolled at an accredited college or university; have an academic status of Freshman or above; and be authorized to work in the United States.
