| Response: District is correct in the way they were requiring the contractor to cover the uneven pavement signs after the structural mix was completed. This is stated in Design Standard Index 600 under SIGN COVERING AND INTERMITTENT WORK STOPPAGE SIGNING which states "Existing or temporary traffic control signs that are no longer applicable or are inconsistent with the intended travel paths shall be removed or fully covered." | |
