Digital Accessibility
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is dedicated to providing accessible digital content and technology in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
This commitment covers a wide range of digital services and content, ensuring equitable access for individuals with disabilities.
• Commitment and Standards: FDOT ensures digital accessibility aligned with ADA Title II and aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across websites,
and web and mobile applications, online forms, digital documents, multimedia, and third-party content where possible.
• Accessibility Maintenance and Support: The department regularly assesses and addresses accessibility issues, provides alternative formats for inaccessible
documents, and offers assistance through multiple channels with a response time of two business days.
• Feedback and Compliance Procedures: FDOT encourages feedback on accessibility barriers, provides contact information for accommodations, and follows
a formal grievance process under Title II for individuals who believe they have been denied equal access.
