Workshop Purpose

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), in partnership with the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), hosted a two-day workshop designed to strengthen Florida's fuel and energy supply chain - before, during, and after rapid-response events.

This workshop brought together a diverse network of public and private sector leaders working at every link in the supply chain. Attendees included representatives from:

  • Seaports and Airports
  • Fuel Terminals/Operators and Retailers
  • Pipeline, Trucking, and Rail Transporters
  • Public Agencies and Industry Associations
  • Emergency Management and Regulatory Entities (FDEM, FDACS, FHP, and others)
  • And more!
