Custom Do not Disturb Messages

Did you know most smartphones have an autoreply feature for when you’re on the road? Turn on Do not Disturb before you drive, and let the phone do all the hard work while you ride around distraction-free.

Just one catch — pre-made do not disturb phone messages are usually bland, boring, and not your style, we’re sure. That’s where we come in!

We’ve created a plethora of do not disturb messages for you to add to your phone. With a wide range of tones and emotions, we’re sure you’ll find the right do not disturb message for you!

  • Sorry, fam. Driving and vibing rn. Can’t talk but I’ll get back to you when I’m there.
  • My phone is literally responding to you on its own right now. Lol, this is an autoreply bc I’m driving. I’ll get back to ya soon.
  • Yo! Sorry I can’t text rn, I’m behind the wheel. I’ll get back to you when I’m done. Thx.
  • Thanks for your text. I’m driving right now though, so I’ll get back to you when I get there.
  • This is my phone autoreplying. I’m driving and I’ll hit you back once I’m at my destination. Sorry for the inconvenience!
  • Currently operating a motor vehicle which requires me to not concurrently operate my cellular phone… you get it – I can’t text and drive. I’ll get back to you.

Not sure how to activate or customize your autoreply message? Here’s how:

It’s Time to Find your chill.

Do you notice yourself speeding often? Chances are that when this happens, you may be running a little late, or feeling stressed, or overwhelmed. And you maaaay be going a biiiiiitt over the speed limit.

So, to help you relax, remember to exhale. Ease up on the gas - you'll get there when you get there.

And guess what?—That’s not just a mindset for the road, but the mindset for a life well-lived.

Currently, Android phones do not offer a universal, customized do not disturb auto-reply feature. There are third-party plugins that can be used. However, each Android phone is different, and you should find the plugin that works best for you. We had success with an app called “AUTO MESSAGE send & reply SMS”. Here are a few steps to guide you:

  1. Install and open AUTO MESSAGE send & reply SMS from the Google Play Store.
    Step 1
  2. You’ll immediately get a popup asking for certain permissions. Tap “Grant Permission,” then “Allow” to give the app access to your text messages.
    Step 2
  3. Tap the blue plus button on the bottom right and select, “Auto-reply”. Then select “Reply SMS/Phone Call” from the menu.
    Step 2Step 2
  4. Now, add a title to your auto-reply. Then, type your auto-reply message, or copy and paste one of our custom, Target Zero-branded options.
    Step 2
  5. Next, check the “receive SMS” option under the header “Target.” If you wish to auto-reply to phone calls as well, you can also select “reject/ignore a call”.
    Step 2
  6. Schedule when you want the auto-reply to be active. Or select all dates to have the auto-reply active whenever you choose to activate it.
    Step 2
  7. Adjust the Reply List if you want to customize who receives your auto-reply message.
    Step 2
  8. Hit the save button at the top of the screen, and your auto-reply message will be activated.
    Step 2
  9. To deactivate and/or reactivate, click the auto-reply you’ve just set up. Then, scroll to the bottom to select or deselect the “Active” toggle. Then click the save icon at the top when complete. Use this method to easily toggle between activated and deactivated states before and after driving. Safe travels!
