The state of Florida is celebrating its annual statewide Mobility Week from October 29 through November 5, 2021.
Mobility Week is a celebration of making smart, efficient, and safe multimodal transportation choices. During Mobility Week, cities, counties, and transportation partner agencies host events to promote transportation choices, highlight transportation achievements, and roll out new initiatives or policies.
Are you interested in becoming a participating agency?
All agencies in the state of Florida are invited to participate in Mobility Week. To take part, each participating agency must meet one of the two criteria:
Organize an event during Mobility Week.
During Mobility Week, join hundreds of statewide partners by hosting virtual or in-person events. Events can take any form and can range from regularly hosted community celebrations, inauguration of new facilities, staff trainings, workshops and more. Events must be related to promoting safe, multimodal transportation choices.
Take a mobility action during Mobility Week and beyond.
Promoting mobility does not have to be limited to one week. You can take mobility actions anytime during the year. Examples include hosting transportation awareness at community events, testing pilot projects, adopting local government policies to encourage a switch from driving alone to other transportation modes, etc.

Are you interested in becoming a participating employer?
All employers, large and small, are invited to participate in Mobility Week. You can participate in the following ways:
Organize a workplace event during Mobility Week.
Events can include virtual or in-person activities such as travel training, bicycle rides, safety workshops, encouraging new ways to commute or improving employee health by participating in the Mobility Week challenge.
Implement commute friendly measures.
Think outside the box for new ways to commute to work and encourage employees to try new modes of travel. Contact your local commuter assistance program to organize an informational session on commuting options that might be of interest to your employees.
