Mobility Week 2020

Thank you for supporting Mobility Week 2020!

This year marked our fifth Annual Central Florida Mobility Week and third Annual Statewide Mobility Week. Across the state, 87 events were hosted by 164 partners to promote smart, efficient, and safe multimodal transportation choices. While most events were virtual, there were also some in-person events hosted by various agencies and partners to engage with the local community. Over 30,000 people were directly reached through Mobility Week events.

This year’s Mobility Week featured a Virtual Conference Center to showcase innovative programs and projects from across the state. There were almost 12,000 visits to the Virtual Conference Center featuring the various transit agencies, metropolitan planning organizations, bicycle and pedestrian resources, commuter services, and more. If you missed it, you can still access the Virtual Conference Center to learn about statewide programs and the various regional transportation initiatives.

The 2020 Love to Ride Florida challenge was hugely successful thanks to the more than 2,000 Floridians and almost 200 organizations that registered for the statewide bicycling challenge. During the challenge period from October 30th through November 30th, Floridians rode 264,676 miles, made 13,612 bike trips and saved 5,561 pounds of CO2. People encouraged each other through 9,000 high fives and 85 personal bicycling stories. Click here to check out these amazing stories from Florida.
