Bring your families to join Orange County for a fun day of walking or cycling on the West Orange Trail. Walk-Ride-Thrive! pedestrian and bicycle safety information, backpacks, and water bottles will be available while supplies last at the Apopka Station, Ingram Outpost, Oakland Outpost, or Winter Garden Station. Cities of Ocoee, Winter Garden, Apopka, and the Town of Oakland are also participating with safety information and "What’s Happening" regarding their Cities and Town. View the map here.

Osceola County Launch of Best Foot Forward
(Partners: City of Kissimmee, Osceola County, MetroPlan Orlando, School District of Osceola County, Florida Department of Health in Osceola, LYNX and Bike/Walk Central Florida)–Osceola County

The City of Kissimmee and Osceola County along with partner organizations will announce the official launch of Best Foot Forward (BFF) for pedestrian safety. BFF’s goal is to reduce pedestrian deaths and injuries by persuading drivers to yield to people in crosswalks and convincing people walking to use more care when crossing the street.

CyclingSavvy is a national program of the American Bicycling Education Association that teaches traffic cycling laws, principles and skills through classroom, parking lot and on-road practice segments.
