Annual Regulatory Plan

In accordance with Section 120.74, F.S., as amended by Ch. 2015-162, Laws of Florida, the Department of Transportation provides the attached regulatory plan listing each law enacted or amended during the previous 12 months which creates or modifies the duties or authority of the Department and the Department's plan to initiate rulemaking to comply with any law necessitating rulemaking.  Also listed are rules the Department plans to develop, amend, or repeal in the upcoming year.

Notice of Variance
The Florida Department of Transportation hereby gives notice that on October 10, 2017, the Department entered an Order Granting Variance from Rule 14-51.020, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.). On August 21, 2017, the Department received a petition for waiver/variance from the provisions of Chapter 14-51, F.A.C., regarding directional signage on roads. Kling VA Clinic in Sunrise, Florida, requests directional signage on Department roads.

Notice of Minor Violation Rules
In accordance with  Section 120.695(1)(c), Florida Statutes, the Department of Transportation provides this listing of rules for which a notice of noncompliance or similar notice will be issued prior to imposition of a fine or other disciplinary penalty.

Notice Regarding Tampa Electric Company
The Florida Department of Transportation, pursuant to Rule 28-104.005, F.A.C., hereby gives notice that on March 4, 2016 the Department received a petition from Tampa Electric Company seeking an emergency variance from Rule 14-46.001, F.A.C., to allow an existing gas line to be relocated in coordination with an interchange improvement project at Butler Boulevard and Interstate 95 in Duval County, Florida.  

Interested persons may submit comments on the petition to FDOT.AgencyClerk@dot.state.fl.us by 5:00 P.M., March 14, 2016. A copy of the Petition may be obtained by contacting the Agency Clerk at the email address above.
