TDP Preparation and Review Training – Save the Date

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be providing a series of training sessions in November 2018 and January 2019 to provide instruction and guidance on preparing and reviewing Transit Development Plans (TDPs) in Florida. The training will be based on the new updated version of the TDP guidance document that will be in two parts: TDP Handbook – PART I: FDOT Guidance for Preparing Transit Development Plans and PART II: FDOT Guidance for Review of Transit Development Plans (Version III, 2018).

A one day, two-part TDP training session has been scheduled in each FDOT District. The scheduled training dates and locations in each District are listed below. Each training will consist of a morning session and an afternoon session. The morning session (3 hours) will cover the updated TDP Handbook- PART I and is for those responsible for preparing TDPs (transit agencies, MPOs, etc.). The afternoon session (1.5 hours) will focus on TDP Handbook- PART II to provide review guidance for FDOT staff and their consultants responsible for reviewing the TDPs submitted in each FDOT District. An online registration system will be available in the near future, but this notice is being sent out early so agencies can reserve the date now.
