Collier Countywide Connected Traveler Information System (CTIS)

Collier County aims to leverage existing funded projects (to maximize connected vehicle data) to provide real-time information to travelers to inform decision making to realize a vision of maximum mobility and safety in trips in and around Collier County. This project will deploy a Connected Traveler Information System (CTIS) that leverages Connected Vehicle (CV) data on US 41 within Collier County.

The CTISP project will deploy the following advanced transportation and congestion management technologies over a two-year period:

  • Advanced mobile traveler information system
  • Advanced transportation management technologies
  • Transportation system performance data collection, analysis, and dissemination systems
  • Advanced safety systems including vehicle-to-infrastructure communications
