The Florida Department of Transportation Public Transit Office is sponsoring three new training opportunities in Panama City, Ft. Lauderdale, and Ocoee/Orlando for state and local agency staff who approve, permit, design, and/or place transit facilities within roadway rights-of-way. This course will inform the audience of recent changes to the Accessing Transit: Design Handbook for Florida Bus Passenger Facilities, Version III, 2013

June 5-7, 2017 at Embassy Suites located at USF in Tampa, Florida. Sponsored by FDOT, the statewide workshop offers professional development opportunities for persons associated with public transportation in Florida. The workshop offers presentations and training pertaining to operations, maintenance, marketing, planning and administration. The workshop is an excellent opportunity to learn from industry experts, attend professional development training, gather information about innovative industry research, and network with peers.
