Accessing Transit Training Courses for Designers
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is pleased to sponsor a short course for state and local agency roadway design engineers on Accessing Transit: Design Handbook for Florida Bus Passenger Facilities. The Accessing Transit Handbook serves as a primary reference for design standards and best practices for bus passenger facility roadway designs in Florida. This course will also inform the audience of recent changes to the Accessing Transit Handbook, Version III, 2013. There is no cost and PDH credits for Professional Engineers and Certification Maintenance (CM) credits for AICPs will be submitted for this training. FDOT employees should register through the Learning Curve if available. Registration links provided below for all others.

FDOT public meetings are effective tools that are used to provide and receive information, create dialogue and build consensus, as well as consider modifications to a transportation project. Meetings can be formal or informal and can involve large or small community groups.
