Atlantic Coast Line (42 k)

The Atlantic Coast Line Railroad was the center of Gainesville's transportation for nearly 20 years. When passenger service still was important to the rail industry, the Atlantic Coast Line train used to run - and did so from post-Civil War times to after World War II - down the center of Main Street, originally called West Main Street.
